Explore one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—an archaeological treasure trove and a monumental testament to Egyptian architectural genius. Embark on an immersive journey through space and time to explore Egypt's Giza Pyramid, the resting place of Pharaoh Khufu, constructed over 4,500 years ago in the 4th Dynasty and until now a forbidden realm to the public! The experience allows visitors to physically move and interact within a shared virtual reality space, providing a deeply emotional and engaging dive into the heart of Egyptian culture.

THE EXPERIENCE

What can I expect from The Horizon of Khufu? The Horizon of Khufu immersive expedition is a unique virtual reality experience taking visitors on a journey through ancient Egypt. This expedition takes visitors to the heart of an exceptional monument from a fascinating era.
How long does the experience last? The immersive virtual reality experience lasts about 45 minutes. However, please allow about 1 hour total as you will need to drop off your personal belongings and pick up/return equipment.
In what language is the experiment presented? The immersive expedition is available in two languages: English and Chinese.
Can I take pictures or record the experience? Excluding authorised press, to ensure the privacy of all guests, no photography is permitted inside the experience, however, there is a photo opportunity in the lobby for those wanting to share their experience online. Please tag us at @Fever_global when sharing on social media.
Do you offer guided visits? We offer on-site guest attendants throughout each phase of the experience, and there is a virtual reality guide in the experience. If needed, you will always be able to interact with one of our staff members for any needs and or questions.
What is the minimum age for the immersive expedition? The minimum age authorized in the immersive virtual reality expedition is 8 years old. This experience is however more adapted to children starting from 11 years old and up. All children are the sole responsibility of their parent(s) and/or guardian(s). This is for the children's safety.
Is it necessary to dress in a specific way for this experience? We recommend dressing comfortably and wearing suitable shoes. Because you will be wearing a VR headset, please refrain from wearing hats or caps. For everyone's safety, we kindly ask you to store your backpacks and handbags in the lockers provided on site.
How many people can take part in the experience in the same group? A group is made up of 4 visitors, but several groups of 4 people can follow the expedition and travel together.
Is it possible to sit during the experience? No, the experience is made for you to wander the space for 45 minutes. For individuals with reduced mobility, we are happy to accommodate you. Please see more information below.
What does the equipment consist of? The immersive expedition equipment consists of an adjustable virtual reality headset.
Are personal backpacks allowed into the experience? Personal backpacks (even small ones) are not permitted during the experience. These can be left in the lockers/ticket counter on site.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase? Food or beverage will not be available for purchase inside the venue. However, the venue is located in central Fortitude Valley and has a number of vendor options close by.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Are school group visits offered? Yes, The Horizon of Khufu is a great activity for schools and day camps interested in exploring history, art, and technology. We offer preferential pricing for school groups and will work with you to create a fun and enriching experience for your students. Are corporate or private group tours available? If you would like to book for a large group, please reach biz@groundseesawasia.com with your preferred attendance date and the size of your group.
Do all the members of my group have to be together to register? Yes, if you want to do the experience together. If your group may arrive at different times, we suggest you order your tickets separately.
How many people can take part in the experience in the same group? A group is made up of 4 visitors, but several groups of 4 people can follow the expedition and travel together.

TICKETING

Where can I get tickets? We recommend getting your tickets ahead of time through: The Fever App, available on Google Play and Apple App Store; The Fever website.
Can I buy tickets on site? Yes, there will be a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App (available on Google Play and Apple App Store) or on the Fever website.
What methods of payment are accepted on site? Accepted payment methods are credit and debit cards.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed? Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your event. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Singaporean Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
What happens if I am late for my time slot? It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before the time stated on your ticket. If you miss your check-in time, you should speak to a staff member when you arrive for assistance, and if possible, we will try to accommodate you by giving you access to the site upon your arrival, or else sadly, you will lose your ticket.
Is it possible to transfer a ticket to someone else? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I have to print my ticket? No, we can scan your ticket electronically on your phone. However, to make the map easier to read, you can print out your ticket.
Can I come back a second time for free? Tickets for the experience are valid for one entry only.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do? You can find your ticket in the Fever app, within the "Tickets" section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I get a gift voucher? Yes, by going to the gift card section HERE, you can buy a gift card online which can be used for the experience.

LOCATION & PARKING

Where is the experience located? The experience is located at 3F Parkview Square, 600 North Bridge Rd, Singapore 188778.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue? You’ll be nestled safely indoors where the air temperature is controlled—perfect for escaping the unpredictable whims of the outside world.
Is there parking available? Paid parking is available at the venue. Parking charges are not included in the tickets.
Are there lockers and on site? Yes there will be lockers available on site, however these are small lockers for keys, wallets, and handbags. Please note large bags and luggage will not fit in these lockers. However, they can be stored at the ticket counter.
Are there toilets in the venue? Yes, there are toilets (restrooms) in the venue. Please ask our staff if you are unable to locate them.
What are the closest train stations? What's the best public transportation? Closest Train Station: Bugis station. It is one minute away from the venue.

ACCESS, HEALTH & SECURITY

Is the experience accessible for people with reduced mobility? Yes, the immersive expedition is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The venue access is on the first floor with a lift, no steps within the space hosting the expedition and the equipment is adapted for people with reduced mobility. However, electric wheelchairs must switch to manual mode or alternatively use our manual wheelchairs onsite. Walking sticks are also not permitted during the experience for the safety of other guests so we ask guests with walking sticks to use our wheelchairs on-site. Please speak with event staff for assistance.
Are service dogs allowed? Due to the nature of multi-user tracking technology, we permit service dogs only for a seated experience to avoid collision with other users in virtual reality.
Can the virtual reality experience be uncomfortable or unsuitable for certain people? Virtual reality provides a reliable and enjoyable experience, but it may be uncomfortable for some individuals. It's not recommended for those with claustrophobia and/or vertigo. People prone to motion sickness may also experience discomfort when using a VR headset. This might lead to symptoms like drowsiness, increasing the risk of injury during real-world activities.
Will there be strobe lights? This event won't include strobe lights.
Is it safe to experience this if I'm pregnant? Please note that in some cases during pregnancy you are more prone to dizziness, and all throughout the experience the ground will be a hard surface. For safety reasons, we do not recommend this to those who are pregnant, however, the visual VR aspect of the experience itself will not cause any harm during pregnancy. If you do intend to attend while pregnant, it is recommended to consult your doctor before your experience. Please note that at one point during the experience you are requested to bend down to access one of the chapters.
Can you do the experience with a child in a baby carrier or stroller? No, the equipment (computer on the back and headphones on the head) is incompatible with carrying a baby in a baby carrier, on your stomach, on your back, or within a stroller.
Can children do virtual reality alone? Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to take part in the experience. Horizon of Khufu: A Journey in Ancient Egypt is suitable for families with children aged 8 and above. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed to participate, even when accompanied by an adult, for safety reasons and size incompatibility with the headset.
Can a person with a heart condition or epilepsy take part in the virtual reality experience? No, unfortunately people with a heart condition, a pacemaker or epilepsy cannot take part in our immersive virtual reality expedition.
Is it possible to wear eyeglasses? Yes, people who wear glasses can experience our expedition in virtual reality. Our staff will be on hand to show them how to position the headset correctly. Note to any visitors wearing prescription glasses: we advise using normal reading glasses, as other types such as varifocals may lower the overall viewing experience.
Can a deaf or hard-of-hearing person follow the experience? The visual content of our immersive expedition is not subtitled, so it is not suited for customers with a hearing impairment. We are doing our best to make all our experiences inclusive and would recommend you take a look at other experiences in your city.
I have hearing aids. Am I able to do the experience? Yes, a person wearing a hearing aid can follow and hear the content of the experience. The virtual reality headset has small speakers that emit sound over the ears, and the volume of these small speakers can be adjusted on the headset.
